This creative new menu will show up in a pill-shaped notch area surrounding the camera cutout on your screen, much like Apple’s Dynamic Island. You will be able to quickly and easily access media controls, navigation instructions, and notifications.

What is Xiaomi Hyper Island?
Without taking up too much space on your screen, the Hyper Island function is made to place important information where you need it. A fluid, interactive pill-shaped menu will extend from the top of your screen in place of a typical notification banner or pop-up, giving you a seamless view of everything from incoming messages to media playback controls and even detailed instructions when using maps. This is a totally redesigned user experience that is entertaining and highly useful; it’s about more than simply notifications.
