Google’s new Pixel 11 series looks genuinely promising, but every model also costs $100 more than its predecessor. Fortunately, for anyone already sold on the lineup, there are plenty of strong pre-order deals and trade-in valuations available to bring that price back down, and Amazon currently has the best offers around.
Amazon’s Gift Card Bundles
Just like with the recent Galaxy Z Fold 8 launch, Amazon has the entire Pixel 11 series bundled with free Amazon gift cards. A straight discount or mail-in rebate might be preferable to some, but a gift card isn’t far off from receiving cash outright, especially if it goes toward something already on the shopping list. Here’s the breakdown for each phone’s gift card value:
- Pixel 11: $100 gift card
- Pixel 11 Pro: $200 gift card
- Pixel 11 Pro XL: $200 gift card
- Pixel 11 Pro Fold: $350 gift card
On their own, these are solid deals. The base Pixel 11 effectively drops back down to the Pixel 10’s MSRP, factoring in the 256GB configuration that arguably should have been the default configuration last year, while all three Pro-branded models more than offset their respective RAM-related price hikes. This isn’t the only way to save on Google’s new phones at Amazon, though, nor the only deal available to choose from.
Pixel Watch 5 Bundle Option
The Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold also come with bundle options that include either the 41mm or 45mm Pixel Watch 5. For anyone already planning to pick up a new wearable alongside their phone, this could be an even better deal, though it doesn’t save significantly more money upfront. The two non-folding phones each take a total of $200 off the bundled price, matching the gift card option exactly, while the Pro Fold offers a total discount of $400. Shoppers can simply pick whichever option best fits their needs.
Trade-In Valuations Are Also Strong
Amazon’s trade-in valuations round out the deals nicely. These rates appear identical across all four models, with supported brands including Apple, Motorola, Samsung, OnePlus, and Google itself. There are far too many supported devices to list here, so it’s worth browsing the store directly to see what kind of valuation is offered. These rates all appear elevated compared to typical trade-in offers; for reference, trading in a Galaxy S24+ for a Pixel 11 resulted in $255 plus an additional $100, while swapping a Pixel 9 for the Pixel 11 Pro brought in $240 plus an extra $175.
A Few Catches to Keep in Mind
There are a few important details to note for both the bundles and the trade-ins. First, these offers apply regardless of which storage configuration is chosen. Whether picking the base Pixel 11 Pro XL or the 1TB model, buyers still get the same $200 gift card or smartwatch bundle. Second, Amazon currently has phone-only listings live on the site as well. These share product pages with the bundled listings since they’re limited-time offers, so anyone pre-ordering should make sure to select their preferred freebie before adding the item to their cart. Finally, the gift card is physical, meaning delivery will take some time, though Amazon does appear to be shipping these out ahead of next week’s Pixel availability date.
On the trade-in side, Amazon doesn’t appear to allow trade-ins when purchasing the gift card bundles, but does allow both deals to be combined when selecting the Pixel Watch bundle instead. The one exception is the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which appears to accept trade-ins regardless of which bundle is added to the cart. It’s a somewhat confusing setup, but still a genuinely strong deal overall.
There’s no clearly listed end date on Amazon’s storefront for these bundles, but it’s safe to assume they’re pre-order bonuses only. Google’s latest phone lineup hits store shelves on August 20th. For anyone who’d rather buy directly from Google or Best Buy instead, comparable listings are also worth checking.
