Amazon is bundling a Pixel Watch 5 at no extra cost with preorders of the unlocked Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold placed before the foldable’s Aug. 20 release. Patrick Farmer at Android Central highlighted the Pixel 11 Pro Fold preorder deal on Aug. 12, the same day Google announced its 2026 Pixel lineup. The promotion pairs the two new devices before their official launch.

Who the Amazon bundle suits
Under the promotion, customers who preorder the foldable receive the Android smartwatch completely free. Farmer noted that the watch was receiving less attention than Google’s flagship phones. He also described the offer as surprising for an upcoming watch he expects to rank among the year’s best Android smartwatches.
The deal will not suit every shopper. As Android Central notes, its clearest value is for someone who already intended to order an unlocked Pixel 11 Pro Fold. That buyer can add Google’s latest watch without paying separately for it, putting two pieces of the newest Pixel hardware into one preorder.
What the two Pixel devices offer
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold combines two Super Actua OLED displays with a sturdy folding hinge, scratch-resistant glass, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Inside, it carries Google’s Tensor G6 processor and 16GB of RAM. The phone offers up to 30 hours of battery life on one charge, while weighing 10% less than the previous generation.
Android Central characterizes the Pixel Watch 5 as a modest rather than massive upgrade over its predecessor, but praises its sleek design and collection of new software features. The watch also has IP68 durability and uses the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip. Its other specifications include 64GB of onboard storage and up to 48 hours of battery life per charge, alongside what the publication describes as accurate health and fitness tracking features.

Google’s new Pixel 11 series looks genuinely promising, but every model also costs $100 more than its predecessor. Google’s Pixel smartphones offer one of the cleanest Android experiences available. Current-gen models ship with the latest version of Android, get updates before anyone else, and enjoy seven years of software support — a level of longevity that makes them a genuine alternative to the iPhone, which similarly prioritizes long-term support.
