Alongside the specific bug fixes Google detailed for this build, the update introduces a handful of new features as well. Development on Android 17 continues past its initial release, and in the meantime, Samsung is still working through Beta testing for its own One UI 9 build.
The new features in Android 17 QPR1 Beta 6 include distance and calorie tracking through Health Connect, a new Settings icon design that first appeared on the Pixel Watch, and a redesigned wallpaper picker.

New features

- New Settings icon
- This design was first introduced on the Pixel Watch
- It appears when the icon is moved around on the home screen
