Android 17 QPR1 Beta 6 has arrived for Google Pixel devices, bringing a mix of new features and bug fixes. This release also marks the Platform Stability milestone for the operating system, laying the groundwork for its transition toward a stable release.

Alongside the specific bug fixes Google detailed for this build, the update introduces a handful of new features as well. Development on Android 17 continues past its initial release, and in the meantime, Samsung is still working through Beta testing for its own One UI 9 build.

The new features in Android 17 QPR1 Beta 6 include distance and calorie tracking through Health Connect, a new Settings icon design that first appeared on the Pixel Watch, and a redesigned wallpaper picker.
