Verizon has inadvertently confirmed that Wear OS 7 is on its way to the Pixel Watch lineup — the kind of news that probably should have come from Google first, but here we are. Google itself hasn’t made any official announcement yet, but the Verizon changelogs have put it firmly on the radar.

Two separate changelogs have surfaced from Verizon, one for the Pixel Watch 2 and one for the Pixel Watch 3, both confirming the incoming Wear OS 7 update. The Pixel Watch 4 is expected to be included once the rollout goes live, and its software version number has since been added to the mix. The original Pixel Watch, notably, doesn’t appear in either changelog.

Wear OS 7 was first detailed in mid-May and brings a meaningful set of upgrades: Gemini Intelligence integration, Live Updates from supported apps, Wear OS widgets, and more. A full breakdown of everything new in Wear OS 7 is available for those who want the complete picture.

Updated software version numbers:

  • Pixel Watch 2: CP2A.260603.001
  • Pixel Watch 3: CP2A.260603.001
  • Pixel Watch 4: CP2A.260603.001

Despite Verizon’s changelogs confirming the changes, the update doesn’t appear to be rolling out just yet — inbound, but not live. Updates will follow as soon as Google makes an official move.
