Leaked specifications suggest the Vivo X500 Ultra could arrive in early 2027 with Qualcomm's 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, a 7,000mAh battery, a 144Hz BOE display, and potential triple 200-megapixel cameras.

Leaked specifications for the Vivo X500 Ultra suggest the company plans to introduce an ultra-premium flagship positioned directly above its current X500 Pro Max. While several rival Android manufacturers have shifted toward Pro Max naming conventions to rein in hardware costs, Vivo appears intent on keeping its Ultra tier in development. According to details shared on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming model combines a high-capacity battery with Qualcomm silicon and upgraded cameras.

The leak indicates that the phone will use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, built on a 2nm fabrication process. That choice would mark a notable pivot for Vivo’s highest-end product line, because the existing X500 Pro Max runs MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro SoC instead. The smaller node is expected to improve processing efficiency across demanding daily tasks.
For the screen, the report points to a flat 6.85-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display manufactured by BOE. The panel reportedly supports a 144Hz refresh rate alongside rounded corners and thin symmetrical borders. Vivo is also said to include an under-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner to handle secure biometric unlocking.
Power delivery centers on a battery expected to exceed 7,000mAh. That capacity is lower than the 8,000mAh battery found in the X500 Pro Max. Even so, optimizing Qualcomm’s 2nm platform should still deliver extended battery life across multiple days of typical use.

Camera hardware remains a central focus, with Vivo evaluating several premium sensor configurations. The leak indicates that the company is testing triple 200-megapixel setups alongside large 1/1.12-inch main and periscope telephoto sensors. Final camera selections remain unconfirmed, though the early trials point to substantial photography hardware.
Current reports target a launch in China between March and April 2027. That window matches the release schedule established by the device’s predecessor, the X300 Ultra.

Details regarding global availability have not been announced or confirmed, even unofficially. Vivo has not shared international distribution plans, leaving the handset uncommitted outside China for now. Buyers tracking high-capacity batteries and advanced camera hardware will have to wait for formal confirmation closer to the targeted 2027 debut.
