A deleted leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests the OnePlus Turbo 7 series, expected globally as the OnePlus Nord 7, could feature a 10,000mAh battery, a 185Hz OLED display, and 3nm Snapdragon silicon, though these early specifications remain unconfirmed rumors.

New leaks from China indicate that OnePlus is currently developing the OnePlus Turbo 7 series. Following the company’s past release naming conventions, this lineup is expected to launch internationally as the OnePlus Nord 7. The leaked specifications point to a mid-range handset designed specifically for high-frame-rate mobile gaming and extended battery endurance between charges.
The specifications surfaced on Weibo from prolific tipster Digital Chat Station, though the post was taken down shortly after publication. Such abrupt removals often suggest internal hardware details were published ahead of schedule. While the early release has generated attention among mobile gamers, the details remain preliminary until OnePlus makes an official announcement.

The most notable claim centers on a 10,000mAh battery. Mainstream flagship smartphones typically carry batteries between 5,000mAh and 6,500mAh, making this reported capacity unusually large. OnePlus is said to be using silicon-carbon (Si/C) cell technology, which allows higher energy density without making the phone excessively thick. Supported by 100W wired fast charging, the configuration is said to offer up to three full days of heavy use on a single charge.
The display is similarly tailored for competitive gaming performance. The leak describes a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED panel running at a 185Hz refresh rate. Most contemporary handsets top out at 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rates. Stepping up to 185Hz is intended to deliver smoother on-screen motion and more responsive touch inputs during competitive mobile play.
Internal hardware reportedly centers on Qualcomm silicon manufactured on a 3nm process. The leak identifies the chip as either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Pro or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6. Reports suggest this silicon may be an optimized or rebranded variant of Qualcomm’s top-tier architecture, intended to bring flagship-level processing speeds to a lower price tier.
Because running high frame rates generates significant heat, OnePlus appears to have developed a dedicated thermal attachment. The leak describes a custom case that connects to the handset using rear POGO pins. Users can mount an external cooling fan directly onto the back of the phone. The POGO-pin interface powers the fan dynamically from the phone battery, eliminating the need for dangling power cords.
Imaging hardware also sees a major change on paper. The leak indicates a 200MP main camera sensor. This would mark a substantial resolution increase over recent generations of the device, which relied on 50MP Sony camera sensors.
If accurate, these hardware choices indicate a clear shift in positioning compared to the previous model. The OnePlus Nord 6 emphasized dependable battery runtime and balanced display hardware. Pairing a 10,000mAh battery with a 185Hz panel and active external cooling suggests that OnePlus intends to compete directly against specialized mobile gaming phones.
These specifications must still be treated with skepticism. Digital Chat Station deleted the Weibo post shortly after sharing it, and early supply chain leaks frequently represent prototype test hardware that never reaches retail stores unchanged. Even so, if OnePlus releases a handset featuring a 10,000mAh battery and a 185Hz display internationally under the Nord badge, it would introduce unusual specifications to the mid-range smartphone sector.
