Honor MagicOS 11 is set to debut tomorrow at the company’s developer conference, and ahead of the official launch, one of Honor’s own officials has already revealed a new Power Saving feature coming with the software.
XiaoFangge, Honor’s Product Maintenance and Upgrade Manager, said MagicOS 11 will include what he described as a cute Easter egg built around power-saving measures. The feature adds a dedicated “Your Personal Power Saving Suggestions” section that reviews a device’s recent usage habits and related activity in brief, then flags functions it identifies as power-consuming but rarely used, offering targeted optimization suggestions meant to improve performance.

According to Xiao, if a user doesn’t see any related notification, there’s no cause for concern – it simply means the device’s current settings already match that person’s habits and will keep working as intended. Users can check or adjust these settings manually by going to Settings, then Battery, then Power Consumption Optimization.
Xiao also shared a screenshot of the feature, labeled “Exclusive Power Saving Suggestions,” showing a page with several toggleable options and a description reading: “The system has checked your power-saving settings; the following optimizations can improve battery life. Actual battery life performance is still affected by individual usage habits.”
In short, MagicOS 11’s system will scan a device’s power-saving settings and surface optimizations meant to extend battery life, though Xiao noted those changes won’t offset battery drain caused by a person’s own usage habits.
