This Galaxy Watch 7 deal is a strong one: Amazon is selling the smartwatch for just $159, which is 36% off its current retail price of $250. The Galaxy Watch 7 is a complete smartwatch that won’t let you down, with a thin, lightweight design and impressive tracking features. For anyone shopping for a new Wear OS smartwatch that won’t break the bank, this is the one, and it’s unlikely to disappoint.

The Galaxy Watch 7 is a winner. A review from a couple of years back reached overwhelmingly positive conclusions about it. The watch is sturdy, light, and easy to wear, and it looks good whether it’s dressed up or down. Its bright, vibrant touchscreen is paired with a fast processor that keeps things moving.
Plenty of sensors also track health and fitness metrics, and Samsung added gesture controls as another way to interact with the watch. It runs Google’s Wear OS platform, which opens up some of the most popular apps available. If the watch doesn’t come with what you’re looking for, you’ll very likely be able to download it.

Samsung also provides four years of updates through 2028, which keeps the watch up to date until then. After that date, the watch will still work, but it won’t get new features or security updates. Buyers who are concerned about that will want a newer watch with extended updates, though a couple of years of updates is a good trade-off at the $159 price.

This 40mm model lasts all day on a single charge. It works with any Android phone running Android 11 or newer, although the best experience comes from pairing it with a Samsung device. Overall, there is little to fault in the Galaxy Watch 7, and at this newly discounted price, it’s a hard device to ignore.

It's a familiar refrain in tech: from a few feet away, this year's Pixel Watch looks just like last year's.
