TECNO has launched the TECNO Spark 50s 5G in India, adding a budget Android phone built around a high-refresh screen and extended battery life. The device runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16 and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. Buyers in the region can select between two internal storage configurations: a base 6GB+128GB model and an expanded 8GB+128GB version.
The front panel features a 6.78-inch HD+ LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and up to 560 nits of brightness. For rear photography, the phone carries a 50MP main camera paired with a dedicated LED flash. An 8MP front-facing camera handles both clear video calls and selfie shots.

Battery capacity is a primary focus for the Spark 50s 5G. A large 6,500mAh battery powers the device and supports 45W wired fast charging. For physical protection, TECNO included an IP64 Pro rating and MIL-STD-810H certification to guard against drops. Available color choices are Burgundy Red and Breeze Blue.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Biometric security is provided by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking. TECNO also added 4×4 MIMO technology to assist network performance. In addition, the phone supports FreeLink, which allows compatible devices to place calls, send messages, and share images without cellular data or Wi-Fi in certain situations.

Sales in India officially begin on October 20. The entry-level 6GB+128GB model starts at INR 19,999, which converts to approximately PHP 13,300. Customers looking for extra memory can choose the higher-tier 8GB+128GB edition, which carries an official price of INR 22,999, or around PHP 15,300.
