Samsung confirmed which Galaxy phones and tablets will get the One UI 9 update, with rollouts set for Japan across October and November 2026.

Samsung has confirmed an official roster of Galaxy smartphones and tablets scheduled to receive the Android 17-based One UI 9 update. The firmware rollout originally started in September with the Galaxy S26 lineup and has since reached several earlier flagship models. This newly confirmed schedule provides a clear roadmap for what Galaxy owners should expect as the software reaches additional territories over the coming months.
Samsung Japan published the release schedule, meaning the listed deployment dates apply directly to that market. The hardware selected for the upgrade indicates which models will likely receive the update globally. The slate covers several generations of Galaxy smartphones and tablets, though regional distribution schedules will naturally vary.

Samsung noted that this roster is not conclusive. Several notable models remain missing from the documentation, including the Plus variants of recent Galaxy S flagships, alongside multiple budget Galaxy A series phones and distinct regional variants sold outside Japan.

Samsung stated that all listed devices in Japan are scheduled to receive their updates across October and November 2026. The broader international rollout will continue well after that initial window, with entry-level devices likely receiving their builds through December and January. We at Droid Tools will continue tracking the global rollout as Samsung expands availability to additional regions over time.
