The Honor 700 series has received China's network certification across three models, featuring a rear screen, teleconverter support, and a large battery.

The Honor 700 series has received China’s network certification, with three models preparing for launch: the Standard, Pro, and Vitality Edition. Honor has yet to announce an official launch date, but the lineup is expected to be unveiled this month while the company hypes the release in China. Guan Haitao, Honor’s Global Marketing Chief, hired singer and actress Ju Jingyi as brand ambassador for the series, as reported by Mydrivers.

According to information on Weibo, hardware upgrades include a 1.72-inch rear screen. Likely housed inside the camera bump to make the device more recognizable, the display will allow users to interact with notifications and schedules, and also serve as a viewfinder for rear camera photography. On the front, the main screen could measure 6.57 inches with 1.5K resolution, an OLED flat panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and ultra-narrow bezels on four sides.

Camera hardware differs between models. The standard and Pro models will adopt a 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For standard zoom photography, the Honor 700 will get a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, while the standard version might receive an inferior telephoto lens. The lineup will also use an external teleconverter for increased telephoto zoom and to capture high-quality visuals from a distance. The addition targets use cases such as recording concert performances, where a teleconverter could handle scenes with higher resolution.
The device may pack a 9000mAh battery. For charging, the Honor 700 Pro will get faster 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the phones will also support reverse wireless charging according to CNMO. On the processing side, the devices will use Snapdragon chipsets, though earlier leaks suggest the lineup will include both Dimensity and Snapdragon 8 chipsets.
