Samsung is expanding the release of its One UI 9.0 update to international markets for the mid-range Galaxy A56. The rollout follows an initial release in the manufacturer’s home market of South Korea, with availability now reaching users across the Middle East. At the same time, Samsung has distributed the firmware globally to the Galaxy A27 and Galaxy A37, broadening access to its refreshed interface across multiple tiers of devices.
For the Galaxy A56, the installation package requires a download of approximately 2.3GB. The software update arrives under firmware build number A566BXXUEDZJ1. Owners can check for the release by opening the phone settings menu, selecting the software update section, and tapping the option to download and install the new build.

The One UI 9.0 version introduces several interface adjustments and system changes. Users gain more ways to arrange and configure the Quick Panel. The update also delivers functional improvements for Samsung DeX and Samsung Notes, alongside better accessibility options and a new location privacy indicator that helps users track when apps access device positioning.
While the broader One UI 9.0 release includes new artificial intelligence tools, Samsung has not enabled those capabilities for the Galaxy A series yet. The brand is currently restricting its latest AI features to higher-end models, limiting their availability to the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, and Galaxy Tab S device lineups.
In addition to the Galaxy A56 rollout, Samsung has provided the One UI 9.0 firmware for the entry-level Galaxy A27 and Galaxy A37. In international markets, this download size is about 2.2GB, closely matching the installation size of the Galaxy A56 update. The company has made the software available to users in South Korea and across Europe.
The two budget smartphones carry specific release identifiers. The update for the Galaxy A27 has build number A276BXXU3BZIF, while the Galaxy A37 package is designated under build number A376BXXU5BZI6.
Both affordable models are also slated to receive Samsung’s One UI 9.5 software update in the future. According to current release expectations, that subsequent version will launch alongside the upcoming Galaxy S27 flagship series in early 2027.
